תקציר:

מר. פינץ' (מייקל אמרסון, בן מ-"אבודים") הוא מילארדר מסתורי שפיתח תוכנה שיודעת לזהות אנשים שעומדים להיות מעורבים באירוע פלילי. לתוכנה יש מגבלות: התוכנה יודעת לקשר אדם לזירת פשע אך היא לא יודעת האם הוא יהיה הקורבן, הפושע או סתם עד ראייה. התוכנה גם לא יודעת לחזות מתי או איפה יתבצע הפשע. מאחר ופינץ' לא יכול לעצור פשעים בכוחות עצמו, הוא שוכר סוכן CIA לשעבר שיעזור לו למנוע מהפשעים לקרות.
